All feral cat procedures include vaccines and ear-tip. Additional fees may apply for flea/ear mite treatment, wounds, hernia repair, antibiotics, etc.
Please note that Spay/Neuter services are available by appointment only.
DROP-OFF
Please allow extra time in the morning, it can get busy. All cats MUST be dropped off by 8:30 am.
Feral cats must be brought in a labeled trap for the safety of our staff and other cats in the clinic. Please make sure there is plenty of newspaper/bedding in the bottom of the trap, and that the trap is covered. Any feral/community cat not in a trap will be assets a $25 handling fee.
Feral cat drop off: between 7:30 – 8:30 am.
Pet cats must be brought in individual (hard-sided preferred) carriers labeled with the cat’s name. Please make sure there is plenty of warm bedding in the carrier. Kittens under four months of age can be transported 2 or 3 to a carrier; but must be labeled with kittens’ names and identifying color and/or physical marker.
Pet cat drop off: between 7:30 – 8:00 am.
* Adult cats (four months and older) should have no food after midnight on the day prior to surgery. Please, DO provide water overnight. If your cat eats the day of surgery, he/she cannot have surgery.
*Kittens under four months of age SHOULD be given a small amount of dry food and water overnight. Also, feed the kitten a teaspoon of canned food at 6:00 am the morning of surgery.
PICK-UP
We will call for pick-up as soon as cats are out of recovery and ready to go home, usually beginning late morning or early afternoon. All cats MUST be picked up by 3:30pm at the latest (unless other arrangements have been made with The Feline Fix staff ahead of time). Late pick up will result in a $25 late fee. Any cat not picked up by 4pm will have arrangements for their relinquishment to a shelter, as they’ve been deemed abandoned at that point.
Please note: a deposit will be required at the time of scheduling.

*We are unable to provide services for purebred cats due to their higher risk of anesthetic complications and more complex medical needs. We recommend seeking spay, neuter, and wellness services for purebred cats with a full service veterinarian. We reserve the right to decline any patient for surgery for any reason. If you have any questions or are unsure whether your cat is purebred, please call us directly.
